Registration

  • All artists are welcome.  All mediums are welcome.
  • Must be 18 years old or older to participate.
  • To register, please email acanyonpleinair@gmail.com with:
    • applicant name 
    • address
    • phone number 
    • WHERE in Stewart County you will be painting
  • Registration ends at midnight on 10/31/2024
  • Fees: $35 Mail-in check or call with Credit Card info to register

Cancellation Policy – 80% of registration fee will be refunded if participant needs to cancel up to October 21. No refunds for cancellations after October 21.

Rules

  • All artistic mediums are welcome
  • You must bring your own supplies
  • This is a Quick Paint – any time after 7am til 12 noon with registration and canvas stamp at Pavilion #2 beginning at 7am
  • ALL of Stewart County is available to the artist to draw inspiration.  Be aware there may be more than one artist at the location you choose.
  • This event is rain or shine, please plan accordingly
  • All paintings and painters must return to Pavilion 2 at Providence Canyon State Park before 1PM
  • Judging will begin promptly at 1PM and continue until all artists’ work has been viewed
  • Prizes will be awarded no later than 2PM
  • The public is welcome to view not only the awards ceremony but also view the artists at work throughout the County
  • All artists work will be available for sale to the public after judging.  Friends of Providence Canyon will charge 30% commission on all sold works with payment mailed within 30 days of the event

Prizes

All registered artists will be given free entrance to the park on the day of the event.

Three winners will be chosen on the day of the event by our judges. The prizes for each are as follows.
